Brivity- Message Center
Brivity Message Center
Project Overview
Duration: 2 months | My Role: UX/UI Designer
Background
Update the ‘Message Center’ in the Brivity desktop app and mirror the design into the agent facing app Brivity Go. Allow users to respond to texts and calls as well as update and organize leads in their mobile device.
Main Objectives
Indicate new contact vs. existing contact with a new number
Allow the ability to merge a new number into a existing contact
Show call outcome
Original Desktop Design

Design Decisions
Marking the unknown contacts with a phone number. This draws more attention in contrast with contacts marked with a name. The ‘add contact’ icon is an additional indication that users need to address this new lead.
Color change and subtext for missed call. Users will quickly see what calls needed to be revisited. Call duration could also indicate success of the call.
Live updates to contact information. Updating a contact’s information will always be in edit more while on a call. Adding something like a new address, or spousal name needs to be quickly caught and recorded during a conversation.

Desktop Design

Updating and editing was available right up-front for any contact that was selected, allowing updates to be made during a call. We found that the more complete the contact information was, the better the lead.
Mobile Design
Text and calls are transferred to the app following the Brivity app design standards. When a call comes in from a new number, the phone number will show and the icon to add new contact, or merge the number with an existing contact. Call outcome is shown by displaying ‘call duration’ for a successful call and ‘missed call’.
